Why Serendipity Shena?

I started blogging in 2012 at a time of great transition in my life. I was preparing to leave a twenty-eight-year career and start life as the founder of a non-profit organization that was started in 2008. I started the blog GETOUTTAURWAY, and over the years, gained international readers. Serendipity Shena was created to share more of my personal views and life experiences. I wanted a space to transition from being an international blogger to also engage in vlogging. Now you must know this is a challenge, as I am an extremely private person. I keep people out of my business by any means necessary. However, I wanted a space to share my love of living life on my own terms, even when things seem so far out of my control. While I admittedly engage in only periodic posting on social media platforms and haven't taken any steps to build my YouTube channel, I am at a point in life where I want to share more of my thoughts, feelings, experiences, and interests.
